First day cruise

Today was the first day of the cruise, so I was allowed to eat protein and vegetables.

I made myself a meal of green beans and I was going to make stuffed mushrooms but I didn't get it anymore, because I went to Aqua Magic. There I ate a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and lettuce, seasoned only with salt and vinegar.

I marveled at my strength of character, and I couldn't believe I could keep up my diet despite the fact that my soul ached with what I saw around me. I suffer the most from real ice cream, not from my surrogate, fruit, and anything but what I'm allowed to eat.

I'm not greedy by nature, I've never been. The sweets sat in the house without touching them. However, now I feel physically sick when I see forbidden food, although I do not suffer from hunger, as you are allowed to eat as much as you want and at any time. The temptation of the stopped fruit always worked for me, unfortunately.

I also relieve my craving for what I see drinking zero cola (I who always ran away from commercial juices, especially those with sweeteners, now they are my refuge, about a dose a day), eating Milaco Milk cheese from Delaco with 0% fat after which I go crazy, honestly and fooling myself with my Dukan ice cream.

Tonight I ate Dukan pizza with baked kapia peppers, really a treat. And what else would I have eaten a Seven Days horn with champagne cream. And a Top Gun Cookie ice cream from Nestle, my favorite.

Careful. The ice cream above is not part of the Dukan diet! No no! Take your hand, take your hand!

  • 100 gr of butter
  • 100 gr powdered sugar
  • 6 medium eggs

Ingredients for chocolate cream:

  • 100 gr milk chocolate
  • 50 gr bitter chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • half a cup of liquid whipped cream 30% fat

Remove eggs and butter from the fridge in time. The baking tray used must not be larger than 20 x 30 cm. The oven is preheated to 180 degrees, or 170 degrees if hot. Baking time is about 40-45 minutes.

Method of preparation:

Put the poppy seeds in a pan with a thick bottom, then add a cup of milk. Boil poppy seeds in milk. Turn the heat to low and leave the pan on the heat for about 10 minutes. Strain the poppy seeds using a 20 cm diameter strainer. I even recommend squeezing the seeds with gauze.

Grind the poppy seeds through a mincer. While the poppy seeds are cooling you can switch to apples. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Put the egg whites in a large glass or metal bowl and the yolks in a smaller bowl with 100 g of soft butter and 100 g of powdered sugar.

Beat the yolks, butter and powdered sugar with a mixer on high speed. Mix everything for about 5 minutes. You need to get a fluffy cream.

In a bowl add the grated apples, poppy seeds and egg yolk cream with butter and powdered sugar. Mix everything with a spatula or spoon.

Beat the egg whites with a mixer. You can add a little salt. When a fluffy foam forms, you can turn off the mixer. Add the egg white foam over the mixture with poppy seeds, apples and yolks.

Line the tray with baking paper. Add the dough obtained and level it. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees or 170 degrees if you use a hot air oven. The countertop should be ready in a maximum of 50 minutes.

After about 40 minutes, check that the countertop has baked. After turning off the oven, open the door slightly. Use a kitchen glove to keep the door ajar. After 5 minutes, open the door halfway. Leave the tray in the oven for a while and then take it out.

Cut the poppy seed top with apples in half. The chocolate cream should be cold, so I recommend you prepare it the day before.

Pour the whipped cream into a saucepan and put it on the fire. When it starts to boil, take it off the stove and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix everything with a spoon until the two types of chocolate and butter are completely dissolved in hot liquid cream and a uniform cream is formed.

After it cools, put the pan with the cream in the fridge (it must stay in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours). Beat the cream with the mixer for a minute before placing it on the counter. The cream becomes fluffy again. Put some of the cream over half the counter and spread it all over the surface.

Add the other half of the countertop on top. Put the rest of the cream on the counter. You can decorate the cake with dried poppy seeds, nuts or raisins. Good appetite!
